New Chapter?

So after getting tired of FFXI again, i am taking a break and playing WOW with kyss. We are current a PLD (myself) and Druid combo. With just over 4 days play time logged in and help with some refer a friend bouns XP we are currently level 59. I must say WoW is FFXI on easy mode, but also its a hell of a lot of fun. I dont sit and wait for hours LFP or trying to build a PT, making money is still a chore but nothing like FFXI. The one thing people always bitch about wow is the quest type where you kill X mobs or get Y amout of drops. The way i see it is in FFXI you sit in the same spot from level 24ish to 33ish killing mandies and random gob's, and you do this for hours on end. When your done your XP succession you go back to town and move on. WoW you finish your XP session which happens to be the quest(s) and head back town for an awesome XP bouns.

Didn't get a chance to crop and play with pics last night but these are just some of the things in WoW so far.

Ok so while i am playing i have decided to bite the bullet and level the most pain in the ass job and probably 2nd if not tied with BRD with busiest job RDM. So far i have hit lvl 25 and have been mostly in my main jobs role of enfeebs and back up cure, random melee tossed in ^^. Tonight my goal is 30+

Back for a Bit

After a break, Tala and I are back (for at least a month) to get in some FFXI time.

Last night we tooled around West Saru as SAM/DNC and SCH/PUP duoing for 6.6k per hour with no ring, while doing some Fields of Valor.

Been a while

Just getting a feel for getting back into blogging my tales. I needed a place to put all my goals in one spot, so i thought of this. First thing ABC's should be cheaper now with lowering the cost of limbus, woot.

I think thats enough stuff for now and would make me pretty content.

Castle Key Farming

Last night I was able to log in to FFXI, despite Tuesdays being an off day for FFXI. Tala and I ran up to Castle Oztroja to farm a coffer key for my last missing RDM AF (Warlock's Tabard). The place was packed, but after a while we finally got the drop. Tala thought I could get the item even as THF, so we stayed there and hunted for the coffer... and hunted... and hunted. It finally popped, but I found out that I did have to be RDM to get the item. Woohoo! 10k gil... and a death when I linked half the zone.

So, the night was kind of a wash. No key now, and no AF. And, we never had time to hunt for the item Tala needs for the next ToAH mission he is on.

But, tonight is another night, and we will see.

61 Warrior

Last night Tala and I quickly got an XP party - which, luckily, seems to be the theme when we are partying as NIN and WAR. Sadly, the leader wanted to head out and fight Colibri in the Thickets. Now, I am not a bird hater, but we clearly were not the party to be out there. For one, poor Tala had to contend with a WAR (me) and a RNG who despite pulling hate every few seconds refused to slow it down and let hate settle back on Tala. So, after a few chats in the ls chat, we decided to drop from the party to be replaced by a PLD and a DD; we then formed a party with a few other ls members.

We headed down to Aydeewa Subterrane and had a great time on crawlers. We had a THF, so I didn't have to work as much about pulling hate with Rampage, but I decided to sub /THF and use my great axe instead. The change was nice, and I had a great time - great axe is now only 20 levels under cap, but you would never know it by my damage. Despite the under-leveled weapon, I still pulled out decent damage.
