61 Warrior

Last night Tala and I quickly got an XP party - which, luckily, seems to be the theme when we are partying as NIN and WAR. Sadly, the leader wanted to head out and fight Colibri in the Thickets. Now, I am not a bird hater, but we clearly were not the party to be out there. For one, poor Tala had to contend with a WAR (me) and a RNG who despite pulling hate every few seconds refused to slow it down and let hate settle back on Tala. So, after a few chats in the ls chat, we decided to drop from the party to be replaced by a PLD and a DD; we then formed a party with a few other ls members.

We headed down to Aydeewa Subterrane and had a great time on crawlers. We had a THF, so I didn't have to work as much about pulling hate with Rampage, but I decided to sub /THF and use my great axe instead. The change was nice, and I had a great time - great axe is now only 20 levels under cap, but you would never know it by my damage. Despite the under-leveled weapon, I still pulled out decent damage.

My warrior finally hit the level for Rampage and it is now mine! It was pretty sub-par at first, because we were camping Lesser Colibri outside of Aht Urhgan. Eating food was out of the question for me, because I kept pulling hate despite Tala's valiant attempts to hold the birds at bay. Then, when I would pull hate the mages would sit stupefied as my hit points went from 850 to 0 (through three shadows too). - Pecking Fury is a bitch.

We were finally tired of that location, and people decided to break up after a few hours of partying. Tala and I immediately put our flags back up and within moments Tala had created a great party. We took the boat to Caedarva Mire to fight Marsh Murre which are plentiful in the area outside of the town (very nice short walk with no aggro). Needless to say, this camp was 100% better than the Colibri camp as we reached over 8,000 an hour with no xp ring.

Everyone in the party did a pretty good job. I kept pulling hate with upwards of 800 point rampages, but we had an abundance of healing power with both a WHM and a DNC in the party so it was a non-stop, zero-downtime fight. We had a few mix ups, however, such as when the DRK used and AOE WS and hit some sprouts - not fun. A few other times I took too much hate and got a beat down.

Over all, it was a great party, and a great XP spot for 54-57.

Back to War!

After taking DRG to almost 40 (@2k), i have decided to stop for a short bit and wanted to level war again. Got my gear and macros ready, lets get to work.

Partying with LOLDrg

First off i am in no way an expert on drg yet. I have reached lvl 29 almost and have found that the drg job itself is amazing. Parse damage wise i have been able to keep pace or pass anyone in the party. I haven't had the pleasure of parting with a bst yet although i would love to see how they parse with their jug pets. I can't wait for 30 drg when i get my Acc bouns that should help some.

I am really looking forward to getting my Drg af and then lvl 66 so i can fight maat.

More Blu FUN

Just have more fun with Blue mage job trying to crawl my way to 75. I now truly can say i feel the pains of Jetsam when he was leveling his THF to 75. Their are just so many horrible blu's that people have started to fear inviting them. My goal is to slowly change peoples perceptions of the job and i hope i am doing just that.

The Way of the Blade

Sorry for the lack of updates in post and videos. The reason for the lack of COP updates is due to me wanting lvl 30 SAM before we move forward. Last night i closed the gap. I am shooting for lvl 30 by friday. After that, i will get more COP updates going.

Blue Power

Last night i finally got into a party with my Blu and i was very happy to see we had two blinkers. Main was NIN/war and second was war/nin, we also had a THF in the party who was just plain awful. For the most part the party was good, i think i got about 10k of XP in the party. The THF had some really bad gear and insisted at lvl 63 that he still needed to stack SA and TA instead of using them separately.

Slow Going!!

So far this past week and remainder of this week i am helping link mates get the clears to the first missions of COP. After two very succesful runs to Dem and Mea, Holla proved to be well just unlucky. We were doing great the boss was down to 24% and me and the other SMN both had 1 astral flow each left. Just as both of us used our ability the boss use a AOE sleeping move that put our avatars to sleep make them unable to attack. I have found a great plan to avoid this happening again and plan to excute that tonight i am hoping for a final clear of Holla. I still have to do Dem and Mea next couple of days and should be finishing up promies for a tad.

I have also been catching up on my BLU spells. I am currently lvl 45 and have solo'd my last 1k of XP while trying to learn spells. I have some more to get still but this is a very fun process and kinda annoying trying to learn the move.

Quest for Diabolos Whoreing!

I have put my 61 War down for a short break while getting Blu to 40. This move is a two fold attack. One allows time for all my old gear to sell and allows me to get Blu to 40 which will make getting past COP Diabolos fight very easy. My goals are closing finishing up after having a nice long break over the weekend. I was able to get blu from 9 - 25 and camped most of the spells i logged out last night at the right spot for my next spell. I camped a NM for a sweet sword on my Blu and got the drop.

Warifick!

My march to 60 might be paused for cash making. After, being given next to 9 mil gil i have blown thru it with items that are resell able at a later date but leave me currently semi poor. After tonight i will have close to 1 mil on the AH. Last nights party came quite quick and i have hope for the party. The first setup was Drk/nin, War/nin X2, Pld/war, Rdm/whm, Whm/blm. I was puller for most of the parties and when i checked the mobs they compared as neutral evi or low evi so i figured i could pop some meat and be good. This was a mistake and half, my acc for the next two hours (yes two i ate a 1 hour meat twice because i didn't pay attention) was around 68%. However with 1 sushi and 30 min my acc climbed to 71% so i was very impressed with the results this also allowed me to pass the dark who was killing me before.



Then after the Drk left we changed over to a Blu for about 3 fights, he was quickly replaced by an even worse THF. This setup didn't last long just long enough for replacements to come to remove the bad seeds.

Finally we got down to a set party that was good. I forgot to reset the parser so there are some left over numbers in there but you get the idea from the numbers.

This is what happens when you pull to much hate and the entire party is silenced and the poor mages have run out of echo drops. =( But thru my death the rest of the PT lived so it was worth it.

Moving on UP!

Got to 48 over the long weekend. Taking a break to get new gear and sell old stuff. Had a very lucky weekend also, an in-game friend quit and i just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He's leaving allowed me to purchase some very nice added bonus for my War and Blm.

Anyway had two great parties yesterday first party was in the morning was with some LS mates. We had a brd in the party which was amazing but sadly the brd DC'd and after about 10 mins of waiting we got a 6th memeber from the LS to come down to camp we kept going for about an hour longer.

Second party had me kinda shaking in my boots, from a damage stand point wasn't sure i would be able to keep up. Our party had a war/nin, rng/nin, nin/war, war/nin.

Not much going on - helped some people get through ToAU missions so we can start salvage soon. My war was out damaged by a ranger, =( however i did spend 3 fights face down eating dirt.

I am almost to the point where i will be temp stopping at 40ish range for my AF weapon and to allow time for old gear to sell and obtaining new gear. Being a war is very fun i can do massive damage and have much more survivability than a BLM. The party invites are very slow i was expecting a higher invite rate.

This was by far my best weapon skill damage.

Just ding'd over to 39 on my way to 40. WOOT.

The Amazing FLOT!

My party last night consisted of 2 PL's, 2 war's (one was me), 1 NIN, 1 PLD/nin, 1 Cor, 1 BLM/smn who was dual boxing with one of the PL's. My goal here was to keep pace with the Elvaan War/NIN and me as a Taru War/THF.

Damage wise i think i held my own. I almost achieved my goal of level 35 War last night. If we hadn't taken so long to get started i might have gotten to 35.

Spike Damage Master!

So over the weekend i started playing with THF i had tested out my acc and damage b4 merits and after merits. I had put enough merits into dagger that i had viper bite two levels early, 31 instead of 33. Lets just say that the poor mandys had no clue what was going on. These mandys were mostly IT to IT - a couple were VT ++.

My first viper bite was at 450ish, this was my second one.

This was my third viper bite.

Had to cut and paste my parsed data since i parsed so much data. The first screen is before any merits.

I think i have found the true power of soloing on my BLM. With my XP ring on i would make over 1k in two kills.
